Great job speedy in the new shoes. Got to love the feel of a new pair of running shoes.:) You never mentioned what you got for taking 2nd in the race. Were the shoes it??

thanks - yeah not the lighted shoes I've had recently but much better than the ones with 600+ miles on them.

nothing for the 2nd place - $20 gift cert and a plaque for the AG win

Nothing like the feeling of a new pair of shoes. Nice pace.

New shoes are great, but are they "magic?" :)

From timp on Tue, Dec 01, 2009 at 15:37:15 from 129.188.33.25

not magic - unfortunately. I need to get some new ones soon, I guess, but these will be my trainers for a while at least.
