The achilles felt ok today - not 100% but better.  Icing it again afterwards.  upper 40's and pretty windy out there today

yes for sure Slick. I don't want this lingering. I'll just do another short one today and see how it goes. I wish I had a gym to go to for cross-training, but I don't.

Tim, if the achilles is really a tendon injury, you may want to consider NOT icing it. I know this seems crazy, but my docs have said when the tendon is injured, because there is so little blood flow in the tendon, the body has difficulty healing itself so it should be treated differently from a muscle inflamatory injury. For this same reason, you may want to consider avoiding anti-inflamatories.
