I was sore today after the racing last night but was determined to get my miles in for the day.  I took them pretty slowly, but felt good in the evening run.  I thought that one was a little faster, but I guess I was wrong.

Who wouldn't be sore after racing both a 5K and a mile in the same night and doing it so dang fast. Do they break you up into AG or is it just everyone against everyone? Did you win the 5K?

no - they break both up by predicted time. The mile was two groups, sub 5:10, 5:10-6:30, and then all others. Then the 5K was broken up into sub 17:00 and over. There are some really fast guys there. The guy I've been doing a little training with broke 15:40 and wasn't even close to winning the first 5K heat. I was about 2/3 of a lap behind my heat winners. There are always lots of college guys out there who just can't get enough. It is pretty cool.
