Got out this morning at 8:30 for a nice easy 90 minute out and back.  I wanted to get in 12 but I was on a tight timeline and I was just taking it easy.  Afterwards we went to the Fabulous Fox to see HoW the Ginch Stole Christmas, the Musical...

Funny - on the way (and we were cutting it close on time) we got caught up in a 10k - and lost about 20 minutes just sitting.  Funny to see a race from the other side for once.  Luckily we only missed the first number and it wasn't like we didn't know the plot already.   Man, my wife was not a happy camper.

oddly enough, i had a similar experience this morning; i was around a mile into the run, and i ran into a parade (still not sure what the parade was, but it had a bunch of scottish folks, bagpipes, and WWI uniforms...)

that's a weird day for a parade isnt it? I can see 12-7 but 12-3. Not sure I know that one.

my guess was a Christmas parade as well, but the barista at a coffee place tonight mentioned the "scottish parade," so i'm still a little befuddled...
