leg hurt on every stride so I shut it down and walked back after a mile.  I'm going to take a few days off to let this thing heal a bit.  I can't seem to have two good weeks in a row...

Sorry to hear the leg is hurting. Sounds like you made a good call shutting it down for the day.

Is it the hipflexor, or something different? Bummer..

not sure MArc, but its in that area, so that's what I call it. either way it hurts a bit and I don't want it to get worse.

So how is the leg? Have you tested it out at all since Fri?

From DonGardinero on Thu, Mar 19, 2009 at 15:02:23 from 75.162.186.3

Yeah Tim, how's the leg? Have you been to the doctor?

From timp on Thu, Mar 19, 2009 at 15:17:29 from 129.188.33.26

doctor - what's that?

I'm taking the whole week off and then hitting it again on Sunday. There is still a little pull in there it seems but it is getting better.

From rhett on Thu, Mar 19, 2009 at 16:06:09 from 170.215.58.122

Tim, I'm glad to hear the leg is feeling better. Smart move taking the week off. It's better to miss 1 week than the extended time off from a full blown injury.

it is frustrating that it isn't all better after these many days but I'm trying to be smart. that doesn't happen much :)

From DonGardinero on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 11:39:12 from 75.162.102.238

Hey Tim, were you able to run yesterday? How's the injury? Is it getting any better?

From timp on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 12:43:45 from 136.182.2.27

Feeling good. I'm going to go out for a few miles today and see what happens.
