Just looked at last year's calendar and my 15 mile race was actually just one week before my marathon.  Thinking back, that seems a little crazy.

Will do 12-14 later today - no speedups

Is that 15 miler on Sat or Sun?? Wow and a week off of the marathon. Well with the kind of mileage you do though that sounds about right.

it is this saturday - this year I have two weeks to recover and do a little taper to get the legs FRESH. I'm looking forward to a race. It has been almost a month and a half...

Wow, that was close last year. Good luck on your run tonight.

Two weeks out sounds much better. Did you run it all out last year? I'm going to be doing a 1/2 marathon 9 days before Boston this year and that has me a bit worried.

Rhett - I didnt do it all out. The first 5 were at 7 even pace, the net 8 were at 6:50ish and then the last 2 were all out. I was fine. I'll do a similar plan this year, just a little faster. I'll be less worried this year given that extra week to recover.

For yours- make sure you don't pound any downhills too much - cause you'll need them a little bit in boston.
