nice run, Hope foot is ready to roll tomorrow! I will be looking for you, I should be fairly easy to spot as my son will be tagging along! I failed to register on line, so we have to be there fairly early!

Good luck tomorrow!!!

Thanks Dale! I just hope to not pass out on the course. I haven't run fast in a long long time.

JG - I'll be there around 7:15 or 7:30, I guess. I registered online so I shouldn't need to mess with that. I look mostly like my profile picture except my hair is down to my shoulders now. And I'll look nervous too I'm sure. I have no idea what pace to go for. I'm thinking 6:30's would be at least a good goal at this point but I'm not sure my fitness is there. Maybe I'll just wing it.

Tim, if I ran your slow pace, I would definitely pass out. LOL. I ran a one mile race last year where I took second place overall and I ran something like 7:39 and I felt like I was going to die. Only minutes after the race I got really sick with a horrible cold.

Hair down to your shoulders? I used to have long hair down to the middle of my back. You should change your profile picture. I'd like to see that.

Hey Dale - I used to have hair that long too - back a few years ago. :)

I'll have to scare up a photo.

I remember that mile race you did. Was that last year? It seems so long ago for some reason.

We're just a couple of hippies! LOL

Before I got this job, I made a deal with someone that if I got this job I would cut my hair. The rest is history.

I would like to grow it out longer, but I don't have enough on top anymore, so it would look stupid. Now I just wear a hat all the time.

Yeah, that race was last year...I think. Time goes by so quickly, so maybe it was the year before. I remember the kid that beat me looked like he was barely moving and I was giving it my all. I was breathin so hard and my heart was ready to burst out of my chest. I don't think I could ever run that fast again. LOL

I just looked up that race and it was Oct 16, 2010. You're right, it does seem a lot longer ago than that.

Dale - I think you need to post a pic of you with long hair!

You can still go and do that mile race this year then, right? :)

I'm up and can't gt back to sleep. argh!

From DaleG on Sat, Sep 24, 2011 at 04:33:35 from 71.199.57.238

Oh man, that stinks that you can't go back to sleep.

I don't even know where all our old pictures are. We have moved so much. They are probably buried in the basement somewhere.

I think that race was a one time deal. It would be fun to try it again.
