My legs are really tight.  With the 50K on coming up on Sunday, I may skip today.  Although, like I told my wife, I'll probably feel guilty about that and do a few tonight after work.  I need to loosen up somehow.

Time to start drinking lots of H20...

Can't decide if I want to drive up the 2.5 hrs and camp out by the starting line tomorrow night or just drive up really early Sunday morning.  I've driven up Sun morning the last two years and it works ok although 3:30AM wake-up is a bit early for me...

Your wife knows you too well. yah, go loosen up those speedy legs, just don't overdo it. GOOD LUCK on Sunday!

Have fun at the 50K. Either way, I probably wouldn't get much sleep. I never sleep camping and I never sleep well the night before a race. I'll be watching for the race report. Win it!!!!

Thanks Paul - yeah I just don't to roll an ankle or anything. Last year they had to bring the country rescue team to carry a guy out at least two miles. Over that trail it was not an easy feat.

Thanks Rhett. I don't sleep well camping either so I'd rather get a few good hours in bed and then do the drive. I'd get up around then to start eating anyway. I am looking forward to it. I don't run trails enough to think of winning. I just want to finish strong and enjoy the day. It is so pretty up there along the river.
