I FINALLY got out for a run.  I was going to yesterday but my wife wanted me to hold off.  But today I got my self out there.  Gosh - those were a hard 4 miles. I felt old, fat, and slow but I did it and didn't pass out.  It felt good to get my heart pumping and my lungs working for once.  Dang, I hope I didn't lose that much fitness in the last two weeks.  I guess I'll see better in the next few days.

7:49 is anything but a slow pace, especially for someone with mono!!!

Please don't rush into anything!!!

You are too hardcore for your own good. LISTEN to your wife!!!! :)

Teena - you are right. I am really TRYING to be smart about it. I'll see how the next time goes and go from there. I'm certainly not trying to push anything. It is really hard to know when is the right time...

Listen to your wife and Teena! Never hurts to take extra time to recover. NO worries about loosing fitness.

well, no running today - although I wanted to pull one of those birthday run your age things that some people do.

My quads are sore after that 4 miler yesterday. Pretty pathetic...
