Felt like a run today for some reason.  Got out early in the afternoon and ran over to the Emory campus.  I've been meaning to check out the park they have over there.  It is supposed to have some trails and no vehicle paths.  It is 3 miles there.  Then I managed to wander around the park and hit all the trails I could find.  Not too many, just a taste really, but there are lots of paths, both paved and unpaved.   Got turned around a few times and hit a dead end once, but got in a nice easy run, which was the goal.

Got out for a short one before lunch.  Didn't have much zip or energy but it was ok.

Ran another in the neighborhood right before getting Q from school.  Felt good.  Ran into another guy running around my pace and we chatted, which helped pass the time.   Cranked it down on the last half mile and it felt good.   Last mile was 6:30 so the last half was around 6:00.   Need to do that more often.

really just about bailed on this one - chilly and windy isn't my kind of runnning weather.  But it was fine once I got out.

busy day - didn't get out in the morning and just got in a short one before supper.  Ran a mile or so on the trails at the end of east lake drive near the house.  Had to run back and forth, but it was fun.
